Kawara Senbei

“Roof Craker”

Kawara Senbei named after the Japanese traditional roof because of the design of the snack itself. Senbei is a type of snack that is flat and crispy. The snack has a hint of sweetness into it and I can kinda compare it to the filipino snack called “barquillos” that is less sweet.

I saw this snack at a grocery store called “Ok everyday low price” and this shop is known for being a cheap place to buy grocery because they always have discounted good on their shelves.

This snack is usually enjoyed with green tea. And maybe good with coffee too.
